How to: Enable ZPE Cloud in a Nodegrid device
ZPE Cloud is a powerful platform that allows you to manage your Nodegrid devices from anywhere in the world. In order to use the benefits of managing your Nodegrid devices through ZPE Cloud, you need to
enroll the Nodegrid device to your company and enable the ZPE Cloud service in the Nodegrid configuration. For SR family devices, this service is enabled by default, but for other models, you need to enable it.
Here's how:
NG GUI
- Login as admin in NG GUI;
- Go to Security::Services;
- Check the "Enable ZPE Cloud" field;
- Click to Save;
NG CLI
- Login as admin in NG CLI;
- cd /settings/zpe_cloud;
- set enable_zpe_cloud=yes
- commit;
For disabling the service, you can use the same steps, just uncheck or use 'no' value when setting the Enable ZPE Cloud field.
Also, in the Nodegrid device, under Tracking::ZPE Cloud tab (/system/zpe_cloud path for CLI), there are available details of the integration from you Nodegrid device with ZPE Cloud. You can in example check what are the details of the Connection from Nodegrid device to ZPE Cloud, such as current connection status (Connecting, Connected, Reconnected, Disconnected, etc...), public IP from device, last connection or disconnection and further tracking information.
Note: It may take up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds for the Nodegrid to show Online in ZPE Cloud depending on your device network link speed and different hardware capabilities.
