What SFP transceivers are supported by Nodegrid appliances? Updated 13APR2026

The Nodegrid appliances with SFP+ ports can support any Generic or Branded transceivers, copper and fiber.
Below are the list of transceivers that were validated by ZPE Systems as well as our customers:

Notes:
  1. The GSR, HSR, NSCP and NSR Lite have additional restrictions:
    1. If more than one transceiver is connected, both transceivers need to be the same type, i.e. both copper or both fiber.
    2. If 1G fiber is used, the auto-negotiation needs to be disabled in the link partner.
    3. Bidirectional Fiber SFP transceivers require Nodegrid OS v5.8.21, v5.10.16, or v6.0.12 or newer
  2. Older Nodegrid OS versions may not be able to support all of these transceivers.  To verify if a specific transceiver is supported on a specific version, the dmesg logs can be reviewed while the transceiver is installed to confirm there are no related errors.
