Local Virtual Machines VM's can't be accessed from ZPE Cloud - Workaround

Unable to launch Local VM from ZPE Cloud portal. 

ZPE Cloud Portal Access:

  1. Login into the ZPE cloud interface
  2. Navigate to Applications :: Virtual Machines :: Virtual Machines VM - Workaround
  3. The VNC console will keep on spinning trying to connect.


Workaround on the local Nodegrid device:

  1. Login into the ZPE cloud interface.
  2. Navigate to -  Managed Devices 
  3. Navigate to - Add Name: (name needs to be identical to your virtual machine VM name)
  4. Navigate to - Type = virtual_console_kvm
  5. Navigate to - IP address= 127.0.0.1
  6. WEB URL: Actual IP address of your virtual machine
  7. Save 

ZPE Cloud Portal Access:

  1. Navigate to Devices :: Your Device:: Connect Web :: : Access :: Managed Name Device (MKS)
  2. Now you should be able to access your Virtual Machine VM.
