How to: Add Devices to a Group in ZPE Cloud

Adding devices to specific groups in ZPE Cloud helps organize and manage your network infrastructure effectively. By assigning devices to a group, you can control access and visibility of devices for users in that group. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add a device to a group in ZPE Cloud and how confirm the device is added to the group:

How to add Devices to a Group (i.e.: 'Operator' group):
  1. Login in ZPE Cloud as an admin;
  2. Go to Groups::Devices;
  3. Select the devices you want to be added to your group;
  4. Click to 'Add';
  5. Select the group you want your devices to be added to;
  6. Click to 'Add on Group';
  7. See a successful note on bottom right side of the page;
How to confirm a device is added to a Group:
  1. Login in ZPE Cloud as ab admin;
  2. Go to Groups::Devices;
  3. Click on the combo box on the page (it has the list of groups) and Click to select your group;
  4. See the list of devices added to your group;
After a device is added to a group, the users added to that group are able to have control and visualize it. If you do not know how to associate Users to Groups, please reach out support.

Note: One device can be associated with more than one group.
Note: If you logged in as an User of a group, and no device is displayed, please, double check and confirm with your ZPE Cloud Company Administrator that the device you trying to access was added to your Group.
