Adding a new license in the Nodegrid

Adding a new license in the Nodegrid

The license required for each serial port is included with the product.

There are some features like cluster and docker requires the license to be added separately.

 

 

Follow these steps to add a license through WebUI:

  1. Login as admin and navigate to System::License
  2. Click Add and enter your license key
  3. Click Save to save the settings

You will see the added license along with the details in the list.

Follow these steps to add a license through CLI:

            1.     Open a console session to the Nodegrid.

            2.     Change directory to the license folder.

a.     CD /settings/license

b.     Show the existing licenses.



                    c.     Add 

d.     Set license_key=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-7POUR

e.     Commit

f.      Show

 

 To delete:

g.     Delete <serial number> 0000000500

h.     Show
